The problem

Nobody has the full picture. That's a silent crisis.

Life changes with marriage, divorce, death, or job changes. Your accounts don't update themselves. Millions of Americans self-manage their accounts at Vanguard, Fidelity, and Schwab with nobody looking out for the gaps. The consequences can fall on grieving families at the worst possible moment.

Real Life Example

A name on a form is not always enough.

A common situation. A critical gap. A simple fix that made all the difference.

The situation

A client came to us believing everything was in order. He had named his children as beneficiaries years ago. He had a will. He had remarried. He assumed all three pointed in the same direction.

What we found

They didn't. There was a critical gap between what his documents said and what was actually required. Without intervention, his children would have received nothing from his largest retirement account despite being named on the form.

The result

One conversation with our team identified the issue. One straightforward process resolved it. His children are now fully protected. A potential family crisis avoided before it ever happened.

Why this matters

"Naming a beneficiary and protecting one are two very different things."

Federal law, account type, marital status, and documentation all determine whether assets actually reach the people you intend. Most people don't know the difference until it's too late.

Bensure exists to close that gap before it becomes irreversible.

Our mission

Ensuring assets reach the right people.

At Bensure, our mission is to educate people and make sure their assets reach the people they intend to leave them to. We exist because naming a beneficiary is not enough.

Most people don't know that even if a beneficiary is named, that person may not receive a dollar if the right documentation isn't on file, if the form wasn't updated after a life event, or if the requirements of the account type weren't met. A name on a form without the right documentation behind it may not be enough.

And today, more people than ever manage their own accounts. Vanguard, Fidelity, Schwab, employer plans self-directed and self-managed. There is no advisor reviewing their designations. No one flagging a gap after a divorce or a new child. For millions of people, nobody is looking out for this at all.

Bensure closes that gap. We educate, we guide, and we make sure nothing is left to chance so that when the time comes, the right people are protected.

Educate

Most people set a beneficiary designation once and never think about it again. We work directly with individuals and families to help them understand what they have on file and whether it reflects their intentions and we partner with organizations to reach the people who need us most.

Protect

A named beneficiary is not always a guarantee. Additional documentation, updated designations, and account-specific requirements all determine whether assets actually transfer as intended. We make sure the full picture is addressed.

Guide

We walk people through the process not as attorneys or financial advisors, but as a knowledgeable, caring team that takes the time to listen, explain, and follow up until everything is in order.

"Your accounts. Your people. All in one place. Bensure exists to make sure that everything you've built has a clear picture behind it and reaches those it was always intended for."
